Hello Philadelphia Family!

I am Ms. Pereida your school counselor for the 2023-2024 school year. I graduated from Cal Poly San Luis Obispo with my Bachelor’s in Psychology and a minor in Women's and Gender Studies. Then I went to Cal State Long Beach for my Master’s in Counseling and PPS Credential. I am very excited to be a part of the Philly family. Some things that I do is: individual counseling, group counseling, classroom lessons, conflict mediation and much more. I look forward to working with all stakeholders as we start the school year!

 

 

This past year Philadelphia Elementary school counseling program applied for and received RAMP! This means that Philadelphia is now a Recognized ASCA Model Program. 

 

Recognized ASCA Model Program (RAMP) recognizes schools committed to delivering school counseling programs aligned with the ASCA National Model framework. The RAMP designation demonstrates to administrators, school boards, families and the community at large that the schools are committed to supporting the mission of the school and district.
